Thermal conductive potting glue currently plays an important role in new energy, among which it is widely used in the field of electric energy, and its safety has attracted more and more widespread attention. Power batteries are an important factor in promoting the development of new energy vehicles. They provide advances in power battery technology for new energy vehicles and greatly improve the endurance of new energy vehicles. However, the higher the operating power of the battery, the higher the heat released during use, which requires the configuration of more efficient thermal solutions.
The following are instructions for using thermally conductive potting glue:
1. Before mixing: Components A and B are fully mixed manually or mechanically to avoid performance changes due to filler settlement.
2. Mixing: Weigh the two components according to a certain ratio (1:1, 10:1) and put them into a clean container and mix evenly. The error should not exceed 3%, otherwise it will affect the performance after curing.
3. Degassing: Natural degassing and vacuum degassing are available. Natural degassing: Let the evenly mixed glue stand for 20-30 minutes. Vacuum deaeration: vacuum degree is 0.08-0.1MPa, vacuum for 5-10 minutes.
4. Filling: The filling of the rubber should be completed within the operating time, otherwise it will affect the leveling. Keep the substrate surface clean and dry before potting. Pour the mixed glue into the device to be potted. Generally, vacuum deaeration is not required. If high thermal conductivity is required, it is recommended to vacuum deaeration before filling. (Vacuum deaeration: vacuum degree is 0.08-0.1MPa, vacuum for 5-10 minutes)
5. Curing: Can be cured at room temperature or heated. The curing speed of the glue has a great relationship with the curing temperature. It takes a long time to cure in winter. It is recommended to use heating method for curing. The curing time is 15-30 minutes at 80°C. It usually takes about 6-8 hours to cure at room temperature.
Thermal conductive potting glue is mainly used for bonding, sealing, potting and application maintenance of power batteries. Thermal conductive potting glue is liquid before curing and has fluidity. The viscosity of the glue varies according to the material, function and manufacturing process of the product. Thermal conductive potting glue can realize its use value only after it is completely cured. After curing, it can play the role of waterproof, dustproof, insulation, thermal conductivity, anti-corrosion, and shockproof.
