Thermal grease is a commonly used thermal grease in electronic devices. It effectively fills gaps between hardware contact surfaces and quickly conducts heat. It's simple and easy to use; mastering the correct steps allows for easy application and installation.


Step 1: Thoroughly Clean the Contact Surfaces

Before applying thermal grease, thoroughly clean the surfaces of the heatsink, chips, and other components that will be in contact with the device. Wipe away dust, old grease residue, oil, and other debris to ensure the contact surfaces are smooth, clean, and free of foreign objects. Impurities on the surface will not only lead to uneven grease application but also significantly reduce thermal conductivity, affecting the device's normal heat dissipation.


Step 2: Apply Grease Evenly and Properly
