The main representatives of electronic adhesives are organic silicone sealants and encapsulants. Liquid silicone rubber or organic silicone gel is used for potting of electronic and electrical components to prevent moisture, dust, corrosion, and shock, and to improve performance and stabilize parameters. Its liquid state before curing makes it easy to pour and convenient to use. When using organic silicone gel for potting, no low molecules are released, no stress is contracted, and deep curing can be achieved without any corrosion. The cured product is a transparent elastic body, making it possible to clearly see the components enclosed within the gel. The components can be accessed by inserting a needle and their parameters can be measured one by one, facilitating inspection and repair. Foam silicone rubber cured at room temperature is used for the magnetic core board of a computer's memory storage device, and it has passed multiple tests for shock, vibration, and temperature changes. A flame-resistant potting compound made from an addition-curing room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber is very effective for molding products such as TV set high-voltage caps and high-voltage cable jackets. When surface coating protection is not required or is inconvenient to be immersed or potting-protected, a one-component room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber can be used as a surface coating protection material. Room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber is generally used as surface protection coating for electronic components. An addition-curing organic silicone gel is used for inner coating. Recently, glass resin coating for electronic and instrument components has been widely used.
Silicone Sealant
Silicone sealant is a one-component, non-flowing paste, dehydrated room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber. It is cured by the reaction of water in the air to release low molecules and cross-linking to form high-performance elastomers. It has excellent resistance to cold and heat alternation, aging resistance and electrical insulation performance. It also has excellent insulation, moistureproof, anti-shock, anti-electric discharge, anti-leakage and chemical resistance properties, and can be used continuously from -60 to 200°C and maintain its performance. It can seal and bond electronic components and not pollute the surrounding environment, fully meeting the requirements of the EU RoHS directive.
Electronic adhesive
Electronic adhesive is a one-component, low viscosity, dehydration-type room temperature curing organic silicone high-temperature bonding and encapsulating adhesive. It is cured by the reaction of releasing low molecules caused by the condensation of water in the air, and vulcanized into a high-performance elastomer. It has excellent performance in resisting cold and heat changes, stress changes, high and low temperatures, and remains elastic and stable at high temperatures in the long term. It is resistant to ultraviolet rays and aging. It also has excellent insulation, moistureproof, anti-shock, anti-electric discharge, anti-leakage and chemical resistance properties. It can seal and bond electronic components and not pollute the surrounding environment, fully meeting the requirements of the EU ROHS directive.
