The Method of Pasting Electronic Components With Fixing Glue（Tensan）
Generally speaking,fixing glue for electronic components is a kind of single component silicone that can combine with moisture in the air and vulcanize into high performance elastomer. It is an excellent metal and non-metal adhesives and sealant and will not pollute the surroundings. After being cured, the gel gives full play to good appliance property of organic silicone material,having the ability of stretching resistance,vibration resistance and shock resistance in a wide range of temperature(-60～180℃).Also,it is equipped with good weather resistance,heat resistance,low temperature resistance and hydrophobic property. Tensan summarized the following methods according to its rich using experience.
Preparation of Base Material:
The interface must be clean, dry and oil-free and we must clean all the pollutant that may affects the adhesive ability. The suitable detergents include isopropyl alcohol,acetone and methyl ethyl ketone. Many base material like glass , metal and engineering plastics can be pasted without first coat. While for those materials with bad adhesive effect, like PTFE, polyethylene, polypropylene and other similar materials must have first coat. If you want to get the best effect , we recommend our Tensan adhesive promoter. After being cleaned with detergents, you can paste electronic components with thin adhesive promoter using the methods of dip-coating,brush-coating and spraying, making promoter dry for 15-90 minutes with its relative humidity equal to or greater than 50% under indoor temperature.
Working Methods:
After pasting the interface with gel, we must paste another base material quickly. If the material is exposed, that will give rise to skinning. Any processing must be done before the skinning. And we can use scraper to make the gel smooth. Adhesive can reach the finger-dry state within 5-15 minutes. When the gel is used for interface adhesives, we only need to paste it evenly and then fit it with another material. We need to eliminate the air of gel interface with suitable stress. And the thickness of adhesives can reach the best effect within about 0.5 mm. The base materials can not be moved before the curing of the adhesives. Some packaging products can be extruded from packaging tube.
We can peel the plastic tip head to the size needed according to amount used and then cover the packaging tube. After use, we must cover the sealed cap, preventing the gel from curing and making it easy to use next time.
Matters Needing Attention:
It is harmless when used under the specified safe measures. While some people may be allergic to the gel. Uncured materials even in line with the certification of FDA cannot touch with food or food utensils. At the same time ,we need to take measures to protect our skin from touching the gel like wearing impervious rubber or plastic gloves and protect our eyes. After finishing the work, we need to clean our skin with soap and warm water and avoid using the solvents.Use disposable paper towel rather than the towel to rub our skin. Last but not least, keep ventilation in the work place.
